Gospel Ears is a ministry that provides unique, creative methods for both personal and corporate evangelism designed to proclaim the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. As Christians, we’re called to evangelism which simply means getting the gospel message in people’s ears. We are not responsible for their response. We’re simply called to proclaim the message – to get the message out. God will do the rest. The three biblical purposes of the church are: worship, discipleship, and evangelism. The one most Christians, and many churches, struggle with the most is evangelism.

Paul’s consuming passion to share the gospel with others was clarified in 1 Corinthians 9:16 – woe to me if I do not preach the gospel.”

He went on to write about the gospel and evangelism in many ways. In two of his letters, he laid out his principal needs when it came to his own evangelism. 

Colossians 4:3-4 – praying at the same time for us as well, that God will open up to us a door for the word, so that we may speak the mystery of Christ, for which I have also been bound, that I may make it manifest in the way I ought to speak.

Ephesians 6:19-20 – that words may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel— for which I am an ambassador in chains—so that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

As we look at what Scripture teaches about evangelism, three needs come up:

1. Opportunity

2. Boldness

3. Clarity
